تفصیلات کے مطابق پنسلوانیا یونیورسٹی کے اسپتال میں زیرعلاج کورونا وائرس کے 700 مریضوں میں سے 9 کو اچانک کارڈیک اریسٹ کا سامنا ہوا، یعنی حرکت قلب اچانک تھم گئی۔ ان 9 میں سے 7 مریضوں کی عمریں 60 سال سے کم تھی۔
ڈاکٹرز ان 9 میں سے 6 مریضوں کی زندگیاں بچانے میں ہوگئے لیکن محققین کا کہنا تھا کہ نتائج سے یاد دہانی ہوتی ہے کہ COVID-19 کسی طرح پورے جسم میں تباہی مچانے والی بیماری ہے۔
