Everybody can’t be please
Once upon a time, a farmer and his son went with his son to sell his donkey in a town. None of them was riding. They said them, “Look at the foolish man. He has a donkey but neither he nor his son is riding.”
The Farmer asked his son to ride and he walked along the road. They had not gone far when the met some old lady. They said to the boy, “what a great fool you are! You are riding the donkey while your father is walking.” To please the old lady the farmer lifted down his son and got himself on the donkey.
At some distance the met some women and children. One of the women said. “Look at the lazy man! He rides the donkey while his little son walks along the road.” To please the woman, the farmer helped his son to sit with him. They continued their journey. Next they met some men they said. “You will kill the animal if both of you ride it.”
The farmer wanted to please them. He and his son got off the donkey. They tied his legs together and slung his on a pole. The Poor animal struggled and kicked. People on the way laughed at them and ran along them.
It is impossible to please everybody. Life is our so we are responsible for its ups and downs.
God gives us opportunities and chance to improve ourselves but we didn’t see we always try to please others. Life is full of opportunities, choices, so we have to use our wisdom to use one of the best.
